Land of Ideas
Because of our pioneering support of education, Carl Duisberg Centren was chosen from more than 2000 applicants to be one of the 365 Landmarks in the “Land of Ideas 2009”.
Under the patronage of the German President Horst Köhler the initiative is sponsored by the German Government and Deutsche Bank. The phrase „Gemany – Land of Ideas“, sums up a wealth of positive arguments associated with Germany from both within the country and abroad. The message stands for a quality associated with Germany worldwide.
Carl Duisberg Centren is an ambassador of Germany because we build bridges that span the borders of language and culture. We focus on individual people, businesses and institutions and cater for their specific needs with creativity and innovative methods. Under the banner –"Training Made in Germany" – Carl Duisberg Centren assists our customers in improving communication and acting with greater competence in an increasingly complex world.
Each year, we provide knowledge of foreign languages and intercultural competence, experience abroad and international expertise to several thousand people from all over the world. In addition, we also manage cross-border educational projects for the business community and public institutions.
For more than 30 years we have helped young people from Gabon to study in Germany and provide all the support they need during their stay. At the same time Carl Duisberg Centren has been successfully working in the sector of international qualifications and personnel development for over 40 years. These programs include, among others, intensive preparation for a visit abroad, carried out through foreign language courses and intercultural training.
Success through understanding is an important intercultural challenge for the future. Those people who want to be successful need to think globally. Carl Duisberg Centren can help you meet this challenge. Therefore, We’d like to invite you to the Carl Duisberg Training Center Cologne on the 17th of November at 4 pm to celebrate with us and find out which of our programs suit your needs.
After the Press Conference there will be a panel discussion between students from Gabon and German students who took part in our High School Program. They’ll talk about the opportunities and benefits that one can achieve from a study period abroad.
